Like many reptile enthusiasts, my passion for reptiles began at an early age. I was fortunate to live on a street with a large undeveloped area behind my house. I spent many days wandering through the fields in search of any reptiles I could find. It was an awesome opportunity for me to explore and learn about the different reptiles in my area. To me, the most fascinating reptiles were the snakes. I was amazed at the different varieties I found in garter snakes. Unfortunately, my mother did not share in my passion and did not allow me to keep them. When I grew older, I purchased my first ball python and had the enormous task of convincing my mother that snakes weren’t so bad. Eventually I wore her down - I even caught her observing it a few times. As the years passed, my passion for reptiles grew. To this day, I continue to collect beautifully patterned ball pythons. I have convinced my wife to appreciate them and my children love observing them. I only hope that my site will ignite a passion in you for these fascinating creatures.
